Well, I e-file for the first time, and it's rejected. I suspect I know why, and I don't know what to do about it. Back to TurboTax.

Mine did that. It should tell you why in the rejection. My husbands birthdate was wrong. You might want to try their tech support.

I called the IRS and they gave me the wonky AGI (doesn't match what I thought I had in the machine, but I may have played with the calculation since I mailed off 2007).

So far, no bounce....

UGH! That happened to us as well, because some of my wife's home-care employers were too new to be "in the system." Paper is was.

Somehow my 2007 return in the computer had the wrong AGI, which is what they use as an identifier. With luck it will be the last blip in the process!
