Those WOULD be great features, wouldn't they? No, it's a pen designed with input from the Japanese fountain pen sellers, who wanted a soft,flexible hooded metal nib, among other things. It sat very well in my hand, and should flex for a lefty without being ground to my hand tilt. As long as my thumb hasn't pulled around too much, it may become my regular pen. I never could get the Danitrio to work for me -- always dried up overnight, it seemed. I suggested W try it with Waterford blue-black, not for lefties -- might work for him. I have a smaller Dani to try, once my pen safe surfaces.
