O.M.G.--They stomped The Shrub!

When W told me the NY Times had endorsed Kerry strongly, I was not really surprised. I think of the NY Times as a moderate rag, trying to be neutral in most articles I read--especially after the editorial scandals of the past few years. But I don't read them regularly, so that may be a totally false impression. I didn't think they could in good conscience either endorse Bush or sit out the campaign as neutral.
I didn't expect them to throw a punch at The Shrub and follow it up with emptying an M-16 into him....
Not that everything they said isn't correct...to our sorrow.

You think that's good, read this
Unfortunately, it also makes me fear that Bush will be reelected.
Without a Doubt

What makes Bush's presidency so radical even to some
Republicans is his preternatural, faith-infused certainty
in uncertain times.

Oh, dear God, kaygo, I saw this late last night and sat up an hour before deciding I would send the link to as many people as I could. I find this terrifying in a way that nothing they've done before scares me.
And I'm divorced from one of those "drip drip drip" sort of destroyers. When you isolate one incident, it doesn't seem earth-shattering, but when you put them all together, you are appalled.
That's why I put the "appalled" sticker on my car window.
I'll be posting this soon--
