I notice new additions to my Twitter and LJ list. Glad to see you! Writers, if you're not on my F list already for LJ, and would like to be, let me know. I'm dealing with cutting edge medical stuff, and have passed some of it on for research reasons. (Yes, I'm one of those people who in the middle of dealing with a crisis thinks I can use this is a book somewhere.)
Otherwise, this is a mix of interesting (I hope) news articles and pictures, silly observations about life, or more serious musings, and writing as I begin writing again. It's pretty much rated PG-13 at the hardest, but not true for my friends list. So cautions on following anyone there. They're interesting but not necessarily PC or safe for kids.
I don't post answers a lot, because life and writing interferes. I started doing this to get me writing again, and it's helped with that. I have a bad habit of starting to read something, forgetting where it was and wandering back months later to read the stuff. Like there was this fracas including writer Will Shetterly and one of his comments kicking up a firestorm.... So, I am not the person to go to for in-your-face writing news. I look entirely too innocent to bother passing me gossip and Drama. I do observe and see if it has research value, but I scrub down to the bare metal before using.
And on other fronts.... a big box unpacked! Found china and the coffee maker. Incentive to continue -- the electric kettle has to be here somewhere!

every now and then, I find silverware in a box... but then I had my stuff packed in a hurry and nothing labeled.
its good to make progress unpacking. Its like xmas all over again.
