Librarians Push Against the Patriot Act

My biggest disappointment in the Obama administration to date is their decision to encourage the Patriot Act to renew. And since both my senators and my rep are crazy -- er, Republicans -- I have no way to buck this trend except to say: Go, Librarians!

My biggest disappointment is their continued enabling of torture and their protection of those who have tortured in our name.

I haven't given up on that one yet. I think they're just trying to control how much comes out how fast. Cus, you know -- we're not going to forget about this one. Never.

I've given up on the Patriot Act.

I'd love to know this administration's thinking because I don't believe they didn't think hard about continuation.
