Nuke them from orbit, as Cloud would say....

Is this Cedar killing anyone else? I am so exhausted I can barely move! And it's screwing with my brain -- lots of stupid, time-consuming errors, and one dangerous one.

Guess it's finally time to start taking Claritin again, after a long lull. Sheesh. I hate meds.

AND we will have a nasty cold snap this week. Pray for rain, people of the Hill Country!

*blink*

That would be a different climate, I think. Back home* there's at least a foot of snow on the ground. Here there's rain. My lungs in fact spent a while trying to kill me, because we are ever so allergic to being sick, but hey, better living through modern chemistry**.

* Um. That's complicated. I mostly live in Cleveland. I'm back in Seattle for the next bit. They're both home. Actually, a lot of places are home.
** I am mostly resigned. I'd rather take smalled amounts of inhaled steroids than larger amounts of oral ones. And there's a really long list of things that are better than not breathing. Of course, I even gave up milk for breathing, and mostly these days don't have to do much else drastic.

Sympathies....

I used to be allergy city, too, and Texas is bad for allergies -- something like four or five major allergy "areas" overlap in the Hill Country. Wicked. But I've been on antibiotics for years, and my immune response is less than it was, for atmospherics. Foods? Don't get me started. I've given up a lot of things, and am better for it.

But along with exhausted and stupid, a migraine threatened over NYE and day -- the worst of the cedar so far (actually Ashe Juniper, but casually called cedar.) That's not only not functioning but pain, so...Claritin!

Cold snap will kill bugs if it sticks around ling enough and it will also lower the ceder and mold levels.

Just a couple of hard freeze nights will improve the cockroach numbers this year. It's a trade-off. But usual cold? Cedar likes usual cold, I'm told!

Cold snap will kill bugs if it sticks around long enough and it will also lower the ceder and mold levels.

Re: Lyme news

Lyme doctors have been saying this for fifteen years. Other doctors have been hysterically denying it.

Now the fun begins....

I knew that about spiders and caffeine! Like nicotine, it's a lot stronger than people think!
