A moment of respectful silence...

for my finances. As of this moment, I am totally out of debt, as in nothing even on the credit cards. This will end as soon as I order the supplement that gives me energy, but I thought I should enjoy it.

Yes, I am sorta wandering back through Live Journal again. If something cataclysmic has happened, send email. It will take a long time to catch up, and I usually only read back forty posts per person....

That is wonderful to be out of debt, even if its just for a moment...

Happy dance time!

Yay! And welcome back!

The most significant thing in my life is getting back to writing again (and still being in the competition at [livejournal.com profile] brigits_flame as of week 3 this month!), having some profound spiritual experiences, and slicing my finger open tonight while making my first attempt ever at a chicken curry (that part isn't on LJ yet).

Glad to see you are doing well, though!

Great that you're writing again! Not so good on the knife work. A stitching event? Hope the curry turns out good, after all this effort (and pain!)

Sympathies. I am VERY careful with knives, especially since I got a decent one and keep it sharp. This doing things backwards condition makes me a tad worried about fancy knife stuff, so I stay fairly simple and haven't really tried to speed up my chopping.

No, I don't think I'll need stitches on this - it's at an angle I don't think could be stitched, actually. Just lots of pressure and being careful with it for awhile.

I'm just not used to really sharp knives, I guess - this is a brand new knife, a good one, and was far sharper than I'm used to. The curry smells good though, so I'm hoping it will be worth it! ^.~

I'm really jazzed that you're debt free. Maybe you can work on the rainy day fund now. Good luck. It feels so good!

Well, not quite bringing in money, except for when I feel well enough to work on a massage client. But I had $1500 in car work the last four months, and about $500 in dental. Not amusing. Finally just sold some mutual funds and paid off the cards. I do pay them every month. But if you pay $500 and another 800 has already come in, suddenly it's $1300 the next month. I get really nervous at those escalating amounts.

On the other hand, I am feeling better. Actually able to start doing books for taxes. That's a big thing right now. And I did finish a story and mailed it off 3 weeks ago. So far, so good....

Congrats and enjoy while it lasts! :-)

Congrats! I was well on track to have my massive down eliminated when I was laid off. At least it's down to a small amount now, but I can imagine how wonderful it must feel.

Serious yuck --

You were laid off? Very sorry to hear same. I was so pleased for you about that gig. Hope something new comes along SOON. Gotta keep those kitties in kibble!

That's wonderful! Congratulations!
