It's a G1, so it's highly hackable, and I've ripped out the original OS and installed entirely open source bits. Because, you know, I absolutely have to have all my devices on more or less the same OS. (Linux. It's like I left Microsoft and got religion.)

But it does mean that I can do some pretty spiffy stuff with it. Even if I've mostly been using it to take pictures of the dove nest and chicks that are in the window over my desk.
I love watching nests! That's a great use for it! My pics cannot download with the Sony Ericksson software (see earlier post on same) so I need to get my camera spiffed up again.
