Not a good judge right now...

"If you happen to be working on some creative writing project, post exactly one sentence from each of your current work(s) in progress in your journal."

2003--

Roslindis was a Seer—the cards always told her Truth. But Truth could be
subjective . . .

1991--

"I've outlived my joke."

1986--

She had green eyes, too; vivid green, the new green of spring bursting forth
outside his window, the spring his father had not lived to see.

Lost chapter of "Alfreda" stories--

"...When you say your prayers at night, it doesn't hurt to ask
God to pass on that you're getting chummy with turtles and snakes."

I'm intrigued by all of these, not just for the sentences themselves, but for where they might lead.

Thanks for your interest! I am looking forward to reading some of your work, too--It stuns me that some of the people on our loosely-knit list have been publishing for years, like Michelle, and I've never seen their work. But then they've never seen mine, either, probably.

I'm not gonna waste time feeling guilty, I'm just going to look!
