And I was thinking about canceling my land line....

The book "Disconnect" and why our cell phones may be killing us.

I admit, I use a signal modulator on my cell phone. If the phone is on, it goes crazy if I drive under high volume power lines, trying to screech out my tape player (old car...) And I wear a modulator, and I have one plugged into the wall next to where I work. If my machines were newer, I'd slap the modulators on them, too. I carry my cell phone in a little pouch tied to my purse. It works for me.

CieAura and giaWellness sell modulators, among other people. You can try some cheaper ones out over at CieAura (there's a link at my Live Journal list on the left)or I can give central Texas people a name of a giaWellnes diastributor to investigate the plug-in and wearing variety!

But I was planning to get rid of the land line, which is mostly used by solicitors based on getting a Sales Tax Id number again. None of whom sell a product I want. Decisions, decisions....

Yes, I use speakerphone. I think the next phone will be a texting phone, now that my hands are stronger!

We were so into mini-phones and TVs on wrists, in comics and SF -- now, the question is, how good is the shielding? ;^)

And when I was itty-bitty, Dick Tracy was run in the Chicago paper, and I thought the wrist TV communicators and the Moon Maid were pretty cool.... ;^)
