At this rate, I'll need to get a wedding icon! Did I mention that Ru Emerson and her Doug finally got hitched, after something like (A-hem) 34 or so years? And are very happy about it.

They are all blessed in each other.

It made perfect sense to me. She has a new life, and that one isn't afraid of the examples of other marriages she's seen. And Doug is a darling -- who had the guts to hang in there during the illness.
