Another one bites the dust -- Amazon pulls CA affiliates

However, they are negotiating with Texas, offering money and jobs for a 4.5 year hiatus from online sales tax. This is part of why I haven't bothered to set up an Amazon Affiliate site. I might do it with someone else eventually, but since I sell only e-books, Powells is currently not an option.

And now, off to the monthly Corrective Cross Fiber Tissue massage therapy. Urk!

Unless they have changed recently, they have to stock your real, paper or hardback book in their store -- then they'll carry an e-book version of it. That's how they code the book. Otherwise, they don't carry e-books.

I just checked their site, and they have Google Ebooks... and then I checked Ru's backlist and they have it all in ebook form.

I'd heard they were talking about doing that. Sounds like it's come off!

Now, should I try to translate my book into Google? Smashwords would be a disaster with the layout, but who knows about Google?
