Hey, Amazon! Minimum Finance Charge?

So, I leave town, and Amazon Chase decides to have a minimum finance charge. Is this just because I usually pay off my card every month, or new fun and games?

I may have to learn how to pay everything through my bank, and forgo the points! Southwest Airlines is offering a lot of travel miles right now for new card holders....

Did you contact them about this for confirmation? I ask, because I haven't seen this charge, and we also have an Amazon Chase CC.

Not yet. I'm just ripping my way through the mail dump I picked up. I'll check tomorrow. It's a letter, not on the bill -- will check the bill tomorrow, too. About to run out now --
