Since you did enter your Twitter account name - which I can see when I click on your profile page - you probably have to change some setting here: http://www.livejournal.com/manage/settings/?cat=extensions
where it says Twitter connect:

Twitter Connect

Connect

* Publish my public tweets to my journal
* When I post an entry, automatically select to cross-post it to Twitter. (You can override this when posting.)
* When I post a comment, automatically select to cross-post it to Twitter. (You can override this when posting.)

I think you are correct. I changed this last night. I just did a test to see if I'm still going one-way. (I like info traveling from Live Journal, not to it. LJers don't necessarily want to read tweets, and not in a lump!)

The new checklist Estara pointed out above makes it much simpler to do links than before. I prefer updating here, since Facebook has made it so hard for me to find people I want to follow!
