Me? I am going out with friends for a late dinner, not too far from here. And I'll be taking the north route home, because that curvy southern route is just asking for trouble on NYE.

A bit wet but fairly mild for the season. Also LOADS of fireworks sent up, starting a quarter hour before the actual switch over. The bad spirits must be utterly spooked, as must be the local wild life. Heh.

I saw one big one go up northwest of here as I was driving off to meet friends for dinner -- green and glowing, like I hope the year will be.

Doesn't sound like you will need to do any other bad spirit protection, since your area has been cleansed by fire!

We had a very nice time and a good meal -- Nancy looked like a model in her new tall heels. I'm starting the year off with a bunch of changes, and indeed, I hope for health, wealth and laughter. Thank you!

Merlyn says MEOW! He's getting very demanding lately. Hasn't had enough lap time, I think. I'd better become a cat perch sometime today.
