Allie's education continues
There are more than a few rules of magic --
..."The last, but far from the least, is: ‘Everything is connected to everything else.’"
“Oh, yes, that is truth,” I replied, thinking of the golden bands of light weaving the world together.
“So you have already seen that rule in action?” Professor de Lancey said. “What made that lesson so vivid for you?”
I gave him a long look, my mind suddenly a tangle of images. I had learned of the great connection from the angel of Death, one snowy day not so very long ago. I was fighting for my freedom, and maybe even my life. Death needed a favor, was the simplest way to think of it. Between us, we had pulled down an ancient evil, and called it to the Other Side.
It was a lesson in Wild Magic. I was trying hard not to talk about the Wild Magic, but it was the magic I knew best, and it kept cropping up.
“There were these mushrooms...” I started weakly.
Professor de Lancey laughed.

It's not that I don't want to do it -- it's just that I do not want a publisher to NOT buy the new book because the first are available as ebooks. So -- life and times allowing, it will happen. It will be a little later should a publisher buy, but that promises a chance of more Allie readers, and more Allie books.
I am thinking about doing an Allie cookbook, and using it for a Kickstarter event. That would pay for the cover art for three ebooks, and maybe a print edition of the third one, for people who are not ereading yet. So Allie will be in my thoughts, even though I will start on something else in an attempt to figure out a route to full time writing.
The Nualas sold better the month I had the ENT link, etc. But I cannot get that kind of publicity all the time, and I don't want to spam my list. So right now the fourth Nuala book is back-burner-ed.
