Aspiring Writers Info: Romance Novels -- the Last Bastion of Underground Writing?

An interesting article about the largest grossing section of the publishing industry -- why do women read romance? What makes the 9% of men who read it curious, and what makes them stay?

Indeed. But I've reached a point where they can snark all they like, as long as my books leave me laughing all the way to the bank.

Still, it's nice for a little respect. The oldest tales of all were genre. We're the ones who stand a chance of being remembered.
