*Urk* It's Hardcover --
I'm glad for Patricia Briggs that Fair Game was a hardcover release -- that suggests Ace Books thinks this branch of the Mercy Thompson Books can stand on its own. But my budget doesn't extend to hardcover right now, so I'll have to wait until either the library gets it or the paperback comes out.
Fortunately the library has it on order!
In the meantime, here's a silly, fun special effects romp over on Vimeo. It's like 1:30 minutes, so if you need a quick grin, enjoy!

Thank heavens for the library! If I end up doing the Allie books myself, I will probably do a simultaneous library hardcover/paper trade edition. Because you gotta control costs somewhere! (For the older books -- the new one I'd do a trade/ebook release, I think. Depends on whether I could do a Kickstarter to fund the covers and first print run.)

I think so many rescue romances let the woman be the one being taken care of. But Pat's characters support each other in a way that is so real. It's really a well written book. I have one little thing that bothered me. But I won't tell you what till you read it. :)
