In good news, scott_lynch has reached another birthday! May this be a year of good health, good finances, good writing, and good times, Scott!

In sad news, incandragon's family is dealing with a dearly loved member slipping toward the other side of time. Please hold them in the light. We are losing someone who brought so much zest to life -- I trust that he will find the new adventure a great one. Sending strength to those who love him.

I'm sorry that I didn't get to have a longer run of "the sitcom," but I'm glad I'm here to help him.

He was a husband, father, soldier, scientist, scholar and in the last years of his life, discovered that he had a genuine calling to teach. He was pleased, overall, with his life, and I think it was a good one.

For everyone else, in every situation? I suspect that your Dad was never, ever boring. And he delighted in that.

I am glad that you are there to help him, and steady your Mom.
