WIN 8 IS THE DEVIL'S PLAYGROUND

More weirdness from Microsoft WIN 8 -- Solitaire is missing. Apparently you go to their app store to download an X-box version, thus introducing you to their app store.

*Sigh.*

Don't want apps.

How do I put this?

I WORK AT HOME. I NEED INTERNET ACCESS FOR MANY THINGS. I DO NOT NEED DISTRACTION.

This is why I don't game. The siren call can be irresistible. And so I don't.

Right now I do not want to learn how to use their app store. The idea WAS mindless solitaire for a few moments.

However...I think I know where a deck of cards is hiding!

Must call to get free backgrade to WIN 7 SOON.

Costco's was 3 months for a return -- MS is two years!

I now have a Google phone number. I am accessible at least to the Don't Be Evil crowd.

I was going to invite you over for hot tubbing and kale, but there is rain, lightning and thunder. Not optimal....

Looks like I need to get my hands on software and learn fast!

The Office Depot tech person told me she used to sell maybe 10 computers a week pre-Win 8. She's sold 3 total since Win 8 came out.

I love Win7. You can get an XP download within it if you want one. Definitely look into that.

I'm not upgrading to Win 8 either. Win 7 64 bit is quite fine - with Microsoft it is really every second OS which has the faults of the previous one worked out.
