I should mention that there is a sublist for people who have expressed interest in my continuing battle/search for answers with the weird medical stuff. At this point, it's defined as Lyme, but we're not 100% sure (as in, you may test positive for Lyme but be asymptomatic. The symptoms could be something else...)

If you want off the list, just let me know. If you'd be interested in this, let me know, and we can talk about adding you.

I plan to Heal Completely this year, and the list will be transformed to something else...heaven knows what....

Hello! I've been reading you for awhile now, and was confused by something medical you referenced in your LJ today - so I decided to surf back through your entries to see if I could puzzle out the answer for myself.

Lo and behold, I found this entry. If at all possible, I would like to be included in such a list, as I am a nurse and find most medical "stuff" to be very interesting. And just maybe, I'd can offer additional insights and/or ideas.

It is quite possible we've commented on some of the same LJs, but I know that I found (& friended) you specifically through the White List.

At the risk of sounding like a shameless fangirl, Night Calls is probably my favorite book of all time and my copy is hideously beat to hell and back because of how much I read the darn thing. It tops the list of books-that-have-changed-my-life. (Closely followed by Juniper, Wise Child, the Arrows triology by Mercedes Lackey, and Stranger in a Strange Land.)

It's always nice to find other people who read as widely as I do (having read several of the books on your favorites list!) Let's give it a try--I'm glad you like the book, and hope you liked KINDRED RITES as well.

Yard Dog Press just published a chapbook of mine this summer, and it includes a short story about the "lost chapter" of NIGHT CALLS--the chapbook is WINGS OF MORNING. You can find a link to it off my web site, or at www.yarddogpress.com. That will bring you up to date on Allie, if you like reading everything about favorite characters.

As my brain comes back on-line, I will be working on the next Allie book, among others.

I was overjoyed when I found out that Kindred Rites existed, though it took forever to get it via Inter-Library Loan (I was in rural SE Ohio at the time.). I did indeed greatly enjoy it, and will be finding a copy of my own soon, I hope.

I saw something in your LJ as I was surfing back through about Wings of Morning and I think I scared my cats when I yelped and about hopped out of my desk chair. I keep hoping for further information about Allie's training with Cory, in particular. ^_~ I can't wait to see more about Allie, regardless of what part of her life it pertains too.

As far as my reading goes, I'm working my way back through Mercedes Lackey's Valdemar books - I started packing them for the impending move, and found myself re-reading them. Again. Some more.

I'm very fond of this series, and the original three especially. Some of the later ones get very wordy in the stream-of-consciousness writing she likes, but her Valdemar books are still my favorites. Though SERPENT'S SHADOW is also quite entertaining--and her three Diana Tregarde mystery-supernaturals.

Right now I STILL have no order from my move, and too many boxes to unpack, but am reading a lot of non-fiction right now--as well as a Jennifer Crusie (romantic caper novels, really...) and about to start ALL THE MARBLES I think it is, a book I found from YDP, which I believe is humorous SF...
