Not to freak you out, but I'm pregnant and I had a whole six-pack of double-yolked eggs a few months ago... it's the only time I'd ever seen it, outside the occasional ones the chickens would lay when I was a kid.
But seriously, do you buy the omega-3 organic eggs? That was the package I had with all the double-yolks, I wonder if it's something they feed them.
These were from a 12 pack of Farmhouse Eggs--Natural Grain Fed for Free-roaming, nesting hens. Not organic, but much better than the average egg--deeper yellow-orange yolk, etc.
The only way I want to be pregnant is with baby books! %^)
