Apr. 6th, 2011 05:58 pmAnd the first thing TurboTax does upon being asked to start a new return, or use the hand-holding system -- or anything else -- is to go to the support page online. The support person says she thinks she's heard of this one, and would I like to download a new copy of the program? (This means my CD is defective, or what?)
This does not bode well. I get to un-install the other one first. But there's no uninstall in the Start list. Apparently it will tell me I need to uninstall when I try to load the new one.
I see all kinds of fun lined up here. Have I mentioned that, after years of faithful service, the past two years of TurboTax have driven me nuts? They are on very thin ice with me.
I need some of Suri's icons for this -- I don't have the proper vocabulary for TurboTax multi-installation.
But it's Wednesday, which is client night, so I have to go prepare -- and finish the kale pesto. Later, Turbotax....
