I have returned from the hinterlands...
Aug. 17th, 2011 01:09 pmAfter minimal Internet access for a month, I hope to be able to keep sales anxiety under control and keep plowing ahead on the WIP. That's fifty more pages on the third Alfreda novel, by the way. I also have stuff to finish for the art show at ArmadilloCon (heck, I have to find the list of panel stuff for ArmadilloCon...)
I did finish emptying the suitcase and putting it away, so I can go get my cat and bring him home. Probably get the mail, packages and food first, so a cooler is needed. It was 108 in Dallas as we drove through, bah. But it's a lot easier to handle driving slowly into the heat as opposed to flying from 68 F to 108 F. Still, a cooler is required. I do not want the eggs to cook while traveling home!
There will be book reviews, and even (finally!) a new post at Goodreads on a revolutionary book I read while in the north. But for now -- if I missed anything major, drop me a line, okay? I doubt I will have time to back up through LJ, although it might happen. Writing first! (Well, cat first. Then writing!)
