Perhaps the question is not who controls reproduction -- the question is, who raises the children?

Yes -- instead of trying to woo writers back, publishers are treating most of them even worse than before.

Keep all this in mind when buying books. There's a reason I haven't bought a Kindle, and probably won't. I do not want anyone controlling this business.
