We Are All Chimeras...Monsters. And That's All Right.

If you were a twin? You are probably a chimera.

If you carried a baby under your heart, you are probably a chimera.

If you have ever had any kind of transplant, even blood or bone marrow, you may be a chimera.

Now it looks like a lot more of us may be natural chimeras, inheriting more than one genome from our ancestors.

Writing fantasy as I do, I am now factoring this into my next series, and realizing that a lot of what I am doing or about to do is about learning to live with the monsters, however you define monsters...because we are the monsters.

And we are not so monstrous. Just different.
