Here I finally pay for my account, go looking for different ways to display the journal...and they are either a) boring or b) hiding somewhere so I can't just flip through a bunch.

I may have to design my own.

Waiting for W to return from the gym so we can go New Year's Eve with folk -- no First Night here, the idea of willingly going to an area with 500,000 people is a non-starter for me.

Yeah, I don't do the Trail of Tights, either...

CODA: All right, Trail of LIGHTS, thank you very much. Do I make fun of YOUR typos?! And the film was indeed HOODWINKED -- "Into the Woods" being the musical that body-slams as many fairy tales as they can cram into the time slot.

Did you have fun? I fell over asleep after cooking and eating dinner, so I snored through the New Year's arrival. But I enjoyed things up til then.

I enjoyed myself. We all watched INTO THE WOODS, and had sparkling champagne or sparkling peach at midnight. BT played auld lang syne, and we sang the first verse. But we forgot our egg nog there! Took their half 'n half by mistake -- must swap containers!
