The "other man" in my life

Does anyone else automatically put on their "pool clothes" when they get up every day?

Alas, I don't think re-finishing the inside of the pool will happen until winter at the earliest.

However, it looks great!

tough life you live there in that house

You misunderstand my post...

...I meant the crappy clothing for pool cleaning. I never get to enjoy the stupid thing!

And thank ghod for the Polaris (IE Kraken) doing a continuous auto-clean! My hands can't hang on to the sweeper device for long -- and hurt for hours.

An old pool was one of my reservations about buying this place. I would have passed it by because of it, but W loves to swim and wanted it. It's his house, so...he does the backwashing and stuff.

Pools have always struck me

as an awful lot of work. Sorta like hot tubs.

I enjoy them, but (as shown from our previous house) don't usually have the commitment they need.

Yeah, a lot of work. I would not have chosen to have the pool. A hot tub, you say? Yes, I enjoy it, but it, too, demands work -- and ironically, it's so small (315 gallons) it's hard to keep the ph balanced!

Hot tubs, I will make the effort...
