If you liked the Bush-McCain challenge, this is for you!

Do you know how McCain feels on women's reproductive issues? The truth may surprise you:

It would be good if they inserted him saying these things into the video. Makes for a stronger case.

I already knew he was dangerous based on other things.

I'll bet they were from newspaper interviews, or large group affairs where the recording rights are nebulous. You're right, it would be even better. The thing that has me appalled was on The Daily Show recently. Apparently in his authorized biography, he blew up at his wife over a simple "your hair needs combing" kind of comment, and said at least he wasn't "troweling on makeup like a trollop, you c***."

This one may be hard to find out about, as I'd imagine most news outlets would not print that word, even as a quote. (Daily called it "interesting", but it may have been democratic propaganda they were quoting.) I'd like to confirm whether that happened. I don't think I could ever vote for a man who addressed any woman in that manner, much less his wife.

I'm an Obama voter at this point. And trying to move on....

Google is amazing:

The quote is from an unauthorized biography called The Real McCain.

Interesting that the other books I clicked to find the quote ALL mention that he's had a nasty temper his entire life.

The nasty temper I heard about in the last presidential run. This, though... It does concern me. Being president requires some ability at diplomacy -- the delicate kind. I hope the people who think the democratic primaries were full of sexism will hear about this before they vote for McCain out of pettiness.

The nasty temper is known. How fast he cools down, and if he does any damage in the meantime? We'll see. I am a wee bit concerned about the new things I know about McCain.

And the hate letters suggesting that Obama's a Al-Queda plant are whoppers. They never say this, or offer any proof, except that he changed his name from Barry to Barak (I would have been tempted by the name change, too. Might as well sound completely ethnic...)

Gonna be a long summer...

Where in the world did they get "BARRY" from?

I've sent several people to the Snope pages already:

His real name was what?

Good question -- I don't care (hey, a guy wants to be Geraldo Rivera, fine, go for it...) what his name was, as long as he hasn't committed any felonies and is hiding himself.

I thought it was Barak Hussein Obama.

I believe his birth name is Barak Hussein Obama, Jr. actually.
