Does this Michael Ventura story hint at why half the nation clings to President Bush?

Where did the greats go?

Oddly enough, no--you'd think more writers are interviewed more often. Even with Straczynski writing most of 5 years of B5 himself, and at a fairly high rate of quality--no one in the biz end noticed.

One thing cable, in theory, gives us the chance to see, is a bigger spectrum--and I hope, in that variety, more quality!

Ventura is occasionally nuts, but more often he nails things right on target. He did an incredible column on tobacco, once, and wrapping yourself in death/smoke as a means of separating yourself from others. His column on "Mists of Avalon" on TV was awesome, too.
