Back at my former roommate's....
Jan. 14th, 2013 12:45 pmChecking email and about to dive into the Work in Texas site. Originally I'd planned to wait a month to get Internet connection, to keep me unpacking boxes. I don't need to be online all day, and I don't have a television right now, so going over to the clubhouse to check mail and post jobs made sense.
Turns out that the apartment complex does have a flaw -- poor to nonexistent wireless in the clubhouse. No idea if it can be fixed or if they will fix it. The library or cafes are not always options, but will work temporarily. So -- will be researching high speed Internet options. May choose one thing now and something else later -- I might want Internet for my phone eventually, but don't feel a pressing need for it now. Plus, need to check in with Dragonfly Wellness regularly, and so far I get email notifications, but not texts. New scheduling software does have its quirks. Not interested in a local phone number right now.
Boxes are still being moved, but I am being ruthless with creating a pile of stuff that's leaving. So...progress on several fronts. Will register for temp sites next week. Also have a tutorial disk for Office 2010. My XP heart is sad.
Now the question is, after I finish entry on this site...can I move my harp in this cold a weather, or do I need to wait until later in the week?
