Someone on my tech list sent this along. Seems about 7500 people sold their souls on April first of this year. A game company inserted it into their privacy policy, along with a box to click if you did not want to sell your soul, did not believe in an afterlife, or had already sold your soul elsewhere. If you clicked on the exclusion clause box, you received a 5 pound (as in Sterling) voucher good at their site. Judging by their stats, 88% of people that day did not read the privacy policy.

I always burn through privacy, but they tend to promise that they have no way to protect your privacy, so some days I understand people who ignore them. See my experience with Sony Ericksson recently for the complete lowdown.
