This list must have passed through some younger readers--and it's an interesting mix. I may have finished the Brust, but I don't remember--a complication of the LBb. I'm wider read than I thought, but I can see several here I want to get to... I've seen movies of many I haven't read, as well as having read *other* books by these writers--but not the ones listed.

Of course I put six books on this list. Are you crazy?

On happier fronts, W and I just made blueberry sorbet, and I think it's going to turn out good! Letting it continue freezing right now. (This is all due to [livejournal.com profile] silona who knew I lusted after the sorbet maker while buzzing a garage sale--entertainment is ours, Happy Birthday to me!) The agent sent e-mail, which is rare and always appreciated (he is watching the new publishing house developments closely, yeah!). And, I saw the "catsultant" (yes, I paid real money for this....) and she stayed 2 1/2 hours and I think was helpful. She believes that what with the move, totally new environment, etc. that the cats are even more stressed than we are--she suggested environmental changes for right now. So, I'll try the environmental changes. If they work, I'll announce on BroadsBar for the benefit of future parents of problem cats....

She does NOT despair on this--says we're a long way from it looking grim.

So I won't either.
