On April 26, www.BookVewCafe.com, the newly launched authors’ consortium, will release its ninth downloadable ebook, Vonda N. McIntyre's Dreamsnake. Dreamsnake was originally published by Houghton Mifflin in 1978. It won the Nebula Award®, the Hugo, the Locus Award, and the Pacific Northwest Booksellers’ Award. McIntyre is also known for her Starfarers series and five Star Trek novels.
BVC’s presentation of Dreamsnake includes an exclusive afterword. Dreamsnake and its fantasy cast (which the Book View Café blog helped create, with “Casting Dreamsnake”) will soon be featured at the website My Book, the Movie.

If you have never read DREAMSNAKE, you must! In fact, it's time for me to re-read it, because what I meant to say about the story sounds like an over-excited six year-old trying to explain a plot.
But now, I must attend to a web site before a quick lunch and visit down south to writer CJ Mills AKA
1minnesotagirl. She's been remodeling, and I need to write down numbers while she measures. Maybe I can lure her into a meal at Casa de Luz.
