Writer Ardath Mayhar, R.I.P.

Ardath had been in hospice for a week or so. She had a stroke Sunday night, and when I talked with her son J last night, he said she was not expected to survive the night. Apparently Joe Lansdale talked with them this AM.

I can't write anymore now. I have to go cry somewhere.

Harry Potter moment...

I just pasted in a link to Facebook so people can find a cheat sheet for the AP Style Guide (http://www.scribd.com/doc/2664713/Associated-Press-AP-Style-Guide-the-basics) and when I did it, the photo rippled, making it look like my hair was blowing in the wind.
