Questions, questions...
1.) Does anyone have a grease car, or a friend who has one? Is this car in the central Texas region? I have 32 oz. of safflower fry oil and I hate to toss it in the trash.
2.) For the love of the Universe, does ANYONE know of something I can do to aloe vera juice to kill the taste without losing the benefits? So far 50-50 with pomegranate juice does not dent it. It was just sweet aloe vera juice. I feel like I need to spike it, like gin and quinine, but I should not be drinking alcohol.
And yes, I'm afraid I do need to drink the nasty stuff. At least my taste buds are numb after the first sip.

Thanks --
That didn't occur to me because yogurt is about all of smoothie stuff I have been able to have for a long time. (If I was gonna cheat and have ice cream, I wasn't going to waste it on a smoothie. ;^) )

If you don't want to dilute it with something that has too many bonus, useless calories, I'd suggest ice cold water and a straw. The colder the water (and aloe) the less you can taste it. And a straw will allow you to bypass most of your mouth.
Maybe a little honey?
You could also try mixing it with a bitter taste you like, like tea. Though, I would avoid a tea you really like so that it doesn't affect your feelings towards the tea. But still, very very cold. Maybe a tea with licorice root. That tends to mask a lot of flavors.
Then after, brush teeth, gargle, etc.

2) not as far as I know... the stuff I have in a bottle in the fridge is lumpy, but not particularly bitter...

I think. I have blocked it from my mind for the last week. The macro chef asked how I was doing with it. She's seen people with bad IBS and diverticulitis recover faster with it. Bother.
my pal
cheers!
Re: my pal
Either way, I may stage the bottle on S&D's porch today or tomorrow. Glad to know it will find a good home.
