Of course, NOW I can't find the post on Chinese, sensi and dragons....
I had a perfectly lovely exchange about older Chinese and Japanese language choices for mentors, and dragons, with
tylik and I didn't mark it as a memory, and now I can't find it.

Well, there was one around June 17th of this year... oh, and one on June 18th last year (is this a seasonal thing for you?)
And I'm on vacation, so maybe available for further language consults? Though one of my buddies is trying to goad me into either doing my own translations of a bunch of the Chan texts, or critiquing Red Pine's - a popular new translator, and I can't speak for his work overall, but the bits I've gone over are quite inexplicable. Also, of course, I'm in Seattle training, so while I'll have bits of time when I'm in a cafe on my tablet, beatings come first.

Thank you! I wanted to re-read, so I can start using The Walking Dragon in my notes I'm scribbling. Enjoy your vacation -- I am beginning moving hell.
EDIT: This typing in my lap thing is trickier than it looks....
