Well, little review love over there, but I'm actually selling more of Hidden Fires over there than anywhere else. Perhaps all the people who liked the others and couldn't find HF in paper are finding it at B&N?

I hate having to pay attention to all this. I completely understand Amanda Hocking happy to get a book contract.

Apparently you can't put in reviews unless you put in the first and last name of who did the review. Ah-HUM years ago, LOCUS used initials for some of the reviewers, not names. RAVE REVIEWS didn't use names at all, as I recall. That's probably different now.

But I can't do anything about that.

So we'll see how the system handles "first name" LOCUS, "last name" Magazine....

Boy, if I had known that Pubit! was so easy, I would have done this months ago. Loading my books up to Amazon, and getting them to work in Amazon's meat grinder, was a PITA.

On the other hand, thanks to all the hard work of people like Vonda McIntyre and Chris Dolley at Book View Cafe (and may I recommend them as talented SF writers with wonderful, screwy senses of humor?) my epubs look great on NOOK for PC.

NOOK is now in the running as the reader I am most likely to want when I have extra cash to get one.
