Dragon does recognize!

Well, what you know? It seems that W and I have very different vocal patterns. Once I switched over to a new user, the program miraculously smoothed out. I may decide to use the automatic features, but for now I'll tell myself to put in punctuation and see what happens.

Can I still delay giving up typing? Yes, of course I can. But I can't get away with typing all day and doing anything else. Even if the new speed drives me nuts, I'll give it a shot.

I think I will experiment with a few letters. In the meantime, perhaps a glass of tea -- make that a cup of tea.

Okay, I am finally -- FINALLY -- trying to use the Dragon Recognition 8.1 W got for me last year. (Yes, still fighting it. But my hand went into spasm Tuesday night, which meant no work Weds. night until, I got worked on. Then again minor spasms while working Friday....you get the idea.) Now, what does the Dragon decide to configure my speech patterns from first?

Chapters sent to me by other writers I trade with.

Later: Oh, lovely. I've been trying to teach W's test file how to read other people's work. So now I've started over, and decided to just go for broke and read Alice in Wonderland. Good G-d, did Carroll not know how to use periods?
