May I reiterate? VOTE EARLY, if you can. Especially if you live in an area that has ever had a riot -- whether for politics or for sports events or rock concerts, etc. etc.. Because we know how sometimes the riot police make mistakes arresting non-violent people caught up in crowds.

PS -- If you are in Austin, dig out your voter registration card and/or license, and call or email me. I am willing to pick up people and get them to an early voting booth. At this point, I don't care if you vote for Palin (although I doubt you could read my posts and do that). We must all vote, and quickly, quietly and efficiently as possible. Don't let the worst of all nightmares happen -- trumped up "riots" that allow W and the gang to refuse to leave office until it's "safe."
Yeah -- I'm a paranoid SF writer. You know the old chestnut, though, about paranoia....
PS -- I voted for two Republicans, a judge and a constable. They've done a fine job and deserve to continue at their jobs, if they want to do so. AND KNOW THE AMENDMENT ISSUES!!!
