alfreda89: (Winter)
As the holidays roll along, we're celebrating Ursula K. Le Guin over at Book View Cafe. Quietly, because Ursula is a modest woman. But a new post slips out every day or so. You'll find lists of all the new reviews and accolades popping up in the past few months, including interviews and even a video.

And you'll find my essay on how an anthology of her nonfiction essays called The Language of the Night made a big impression on me, back in the dark ages.

It still does. Recommended.

My love note and thanks to Ursula K. LeGuin, in honor of her 80th birthday. Hope you like it!
