'Nake triumphant!
Oct. 23rd, 2007 11:57 pmI was emptying leaves out of the Kraken today (a Polaris pool cleaner, and highly recommended) and as I walked back past the steps in the shallow end, I saw a greenish snake just over a foot English long, with a white stripe on his sides and a yellow on his top -- over yellow and black checks/scales -- wiggling his little heart out trying to find the place out of the pool. Well, he had no rattles, and I was very brazen -- I just scooped up his tail and zipped him out to the concrete. He wiggled once, thought about it, and then zipped over to the dry leaves by the stone flower bed, where he slithered along and is undoubtedly under the deck staking out new territory.
I am a snake wrangler! Did not even shake!
(It looked like kin of the one in the garage...)
